용법 · 용량

이 약의 권장 용량은 10mg이며, 예상되는 성 행위 전에 식사에 상관없이 복용한다. 타다라필 (tadalafil) 10mg이 충분한 효과를 나타내지 않는 환자들에게는 20 mg을 시도하여도 좋다. 이 약은 적어도 성 행위 30 분 전부터 투여할 수 있다. 최대 권장 복용 빈도는 1일 1회이며, 이 약은 개별 포장에서 꺼낸 직후에 바로 혀 위에 놓고, 녹여서 물 없이 복용한다. 실데나필로서, 1일 1회 성행위 약 1시간 전에 권장용량 50 ∼ 100 mg을 경구투여하며, 경우에 따라서는 성행 위 4시간 전에서 30분 전에 투여하여도 된다. 유효성과 내약성에 따라 용량을 증감할 수 있다. 연장된 매일 투약 후에 대한 장기간 안전성이 확립되지 않았고, 또한 이 약의 효과가 보통 하루 이상 지속되기 때문에 이 약제를 지속적으로 매일 투여하는 것은 강하게 권장되지 않는다. 다음의 환자는 타다라필의 혈장농도를 상승시킬 수 있으므로 초회용량을 10 mg으로 조절 하여야 한다. 경증 내지 중등도의 신장애가 있는 환자에서 용량조절을 필요로 하지 않는다. 심한 신장애 환자에서 최대 권장용량은 10mg이다. 간 기능 장애가 있는 남성에서의 사용 고령 환자에서 용량 조절 (dosage adjustments)을 필요로 하지 않는다. 당뇨병 환자에서 용량 조절을 필요로 하지 않는다.
